3rd Line Voice Engineer – PBX

3rd Line Voice Engineer – Opportunity has arisen for a 3rd Line Voice Engineer to help a large telecoms organisation, manage their PBX & VoIP based voice calling platform. The 3rd Line Voice Engineer will be responsible for a mix of hands-on project & engineering support tasks, related to a large Voice (PBX & VoIP) platform. The 3rd Line Voice Engineer will be customer facing, have daytime hours and flexibility to work from home.

LOCATION: St Albans + home working flexibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, test, and monitor PBX & VoIP Voice systems to 3rd line level.
  • Troubleshoot Voice & Network related issues.
  • Schedule upgrades to the voice platform and equipment.
  • Collaborate with network architects on network optimisation.
  • Assist with Network Operations Centre (NOC) ticket escalation.

EXPERIENCE:

  • PBX – Installation, testing, commissioning & maintenance of PBX Voice Systems.
  • SIP – Good knowledge of SIP Session Initiation (SIP) Clients.
  • IVR – Knowledge of IVR Call recording platforms.
  • Networks – Mobile Networks, back haul circuits, network switches.
  • Cisco – CCNA, CCNP knowledge would be helpful.
